The two special editions of Scarfe: Sixty Years of Being Rude (the Artist’s Edition at £1200 and the Deluxe Edition at £500) are exclusively available via this website. There is also an unlimited standard edition that retails for £150 which will be available from other retail outlets.

The book is purchased from the publisher, Little, Brown Book Group. The order fulfilment is being handled by our fulfilment partner, Gardners, which is a book wholesaler.

 

What is the price?
This website stocks the Deluxe Edition and the Artist’s Edition.The Artist’s Edition is £1200. The Deluxe Edition is £500. A standard edition is available from other retailers at the price of £150.

 

When will payment be taken?
Payment will be taken at the point of order.

 

What payment methods can I use?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, AMEX, SagePay, ApplePay, GooglePay

 

Can I pay using Paypal?
No.

 

Do you ship to my country?
The Deluxe Edition and Artist’s Edition stocked here are available for shipping to the addresses in the following regions:
the UK, the USA, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco, Andorra, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Gibraltar, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece and Romania.

 

How much does shipping cost?
24-hour shipping within the UK is included in the cost of the product. International shipping costs vary and will be indicated at the point of sale, based on location of delivery.

 

When will my package by shipped?
Orders will be dispatched on the same day the order is made, if the order is made before 3pm.

Pre-orders will be dispatched the day before publication (6th November 2019).

 

Can I have my box shipped to a PO box, p.s.c. box or military address?
 No. All orders must be signed for.

 

Is the shipping tracked?
Yes. All shipping is tracked. You will receive an email from the courier service confirming dispatch which will provide you with a unique tracking number.

 

Will I have to pay customs charges?
If charges apply to get your package through customs in your country you will be liable for these charges and your order will not arrive with you until these charges are settled.

 

When will I receive my copy of the book?
In the UK, customers will receive a twenty-four-hour service that will require a signature on delivery. UPS will reattempt delivery twice and if the third attempt is unsuccessful, customers will need to arrange collection at a UPS depot or redelivery.

International shipping time will be indicated at check-out based on the location of the delivery address. 

 

How will the book be packaged?
The external case will be wrapped in craft paper, then wrapped in bubble wrap. It will then be placed in a box with specially designed foam inserts that fit the exact measurements of the book and cushion it during transit. How much will the packaged book weigh?

 

Who will deliver the book?
UPS will handle delivery to UK, US and Australian addresses. DHL will handle all other international deliveries.

What if I don’t receive a confirmation email?

My order was damaged or defective on arrival, what should I do?
Please take pictures of the book as it arrived, including any packaging and close ups of the damaged/defective area. No action will be taken by us without photographic evidence of the damage. Once you have these photos please contact us on: scarfebook@gmail.com

 

Will my package be insured whilst in transit?
There is an option to insure your package at checkout. For UK customers there is standard insurance of £100 via our courier, UPS. If you wish to increase your cover, it will cost 1% of the value of the book, with a minimum charge of £8. For international deliveries, additional insurance comes at a cost of 1.5% of the value of the book, with a minimum charge of £12.

 

I've pre-ordered, can I change my delivery address?
The delivery address can be changed up until payment has been completed. Once payment has been taken, we can no longer accept the change of delivery address.

For pre-ordered books only, the delivery address can be changed up until the book is shipped on 6th Nov 2019.

 

Can I return or exchange the book I received?
No exchange will be offered or accepted. You have the option of returning your order within fourteen days of receiving it.

 

How will Brexit impact the delivery of my package?
If the current situation with Brexit is not resolved this may delay your order arriving in the EU, but at this stage we are not envisaging an issue.

 

Can I send one of these products as a gift?
This site allows customers to enter a different shipping address to the billing address, so there is the option to send either of these products as a gift. There is no facility for adding a gift message.
